As part of Toyota and Planet Ark's National Tree Day for Schools, we were lucky enough to spend the day with our Maitland & Port Stephens Toyota ambassador, Maddi Elliott, along with the students from Tarro Primary School.
Together we planted around 6 citrus trees at the school which they hope to look after and eventually harvest fruit from with the kids. It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm and smiles and we would like to thank everyone involved in the day including staff and students at Tarro Primary school, Maddi Elliott, and our team members that were present on the day.
We were super excited that Maddi could join us for the day as she had already been up early to open the Maitland Pool and swim the first lap in the lane dedicated to her. Maddi swam at the Rio paralympics and won Gold amongst a whole host of other medals and achievements across numerous events here in Australia and abroad.
We look forward to National Tree Day next year!
